Well againts my better judgement I tapped one bush today. Looks like we are in for one heck of a snowstorm this week and I couldnt imagine dragging all my gear around in a foot and a half of snow to tap so i started this morning. To my amazement after getting 106 taps in I went down to my tank to secure my main lines and found around 20 or so gallons of sap had beat me there. It was snowing pretty steady and I noticed my holes were wet when drilling but I was surprised to find a very lite steady flow to the tanks. Maybe they will run all night and I will get a little. Next week looks promising for a little run so we will see. I may just drop this little run off to a guy down the road who does a turkey fryer and a half a dozen taps. That would probably double his yeild for the year
