No problem treehugger, they will still run when the sap does. As the weather gets warmer, some will just stop, as bacteria starts to heal the hole on the inside. When you get a good freeze & thaw but no sap, thats it for that one. Usually when you pull the tap, it'll run some more right from where the tap sealed against the edge of the hole, but no much or for long. Hey Mark, leave some sap in the ground for the rest of us!!
