Well I dumped about 100Gal of crystal clear %.7 sap today. I just could not justyfy boiling it @ 20 - 22 Gal/hour.
Anyone else see sap this low? Any chance it will go up?

My sugar content was very low at the start of the season but has increased lately. It was 2% from my trees on vacuum which are mostly reds and 3% from my sugars on buckets yesterday. I also noticed that there wasn't as much bacteria in the woods tank from the taps on vacuum yesterday. The run before that I got 2.1% from my vacuum taps and 3% from my buckets. I could see the bacteria in the releaser as it was coming out of the mainlines that day.

325abn, yeah it's way down! Fat chance it will rise in the future this year. But there is always next year!
Russ I'm jealous, 2+%? Wow. I have not seen that this year on anything! The bacteria looked like a big loogie in the crystle clear sap.(no snot rockets in my sap!) I washed all the tanks and still it showed up. Oh well, it's over for this year. Glad to see it go, looking forward to next year.
