We have to be careful what we wish for sometimes. I am looking for some sap today but not a lot as it is cooler then yesterday.

got more today than yesterday here and the bucket are half full again at 7 o'clock.
best outdoor syrup made in Maine...... loosing that title as we are moving indoors to a 12x16 sugar shack with a new to us 2x6 .

I found and tapped a tree today that poured sap. When I drilled the hole sap was pouring around the bit. If I had a few more trees like that I could run a evaporator on it alone.
