Default It's time to sweeten my pans

I got most of my taps in over the last three days. This evening i collected
about 105 gallons of sap. Tomorrow evening I will sweeten my pans. I put a
150 cfm blower on my evaporator for this year and upgraded my preheater.
I hope this will kick up my gph a little. The next two or three days look
pretty good, then maby a little to warm for early next week.

WV sugarshak, I'll be around saturday morning putting in my last few taps.
I'll also be around sunday afternoon hopefully collecting sap. Either time
    would be great.
I fired up my rig tonight and boiled off about 80 or 90 gallons. The rest
of my sap was frozen solid. It took under three hours from start up to
shut down. I looks like I picked up better than 5 gph over last year.
The first draw off looks to be fancy or medium, I haven't checked it yet.
Hope to see you soon. Gerry

Why so quiet? How was your season? You should of had some early runs in Feb. Did it get too hot on the Red Maples and shut them down, mine retired the first week of March, my sugars still wanted to play for about two more weeks, I ended up freshing the holes and have been making some commercial syrup.
