Default H2O2 Concentration for Clenaing 3/16 Lines?

    Hi All,

Time to clean. I've searched and most every thread has a different answer.

    1. What is the apprpriate concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide for cleaning 3/16 lines?
    2. How long is considdered adequate contact time?
    3. What is the proper method for flushing in the followign Fall?

I'm planning on flooding my lines and leaving the H2O2 solution in them all summer. Is this appropriate?

    Thanks,

    Bryan

Dilute food grade h2O2 to 3% using permeate. Fill lines, but do not leave in all summer. The oxygen released will make your fittings very brittle of exposed for extremely long periods of time. I tend to leave mine full for about 1 day and then drain and coil them up.

Also note that shurflo diaphragms aren't rec9mmended to be exposed to H2O2. I use an aquatec to fill and pull dry.
