    Default How long?

Did a soap wash and 200 gallon rinse almost a week ago. How long would you let membranes sit before use again?

I have no official answer for that question, but it's a good question. All I can tell you is that I've gone idle with mine for over a week due to an extended cold snap and had no issues starting up again. Maybe MES has a suggestion for an extended lay-up?
I would think with a proper wash and rinse you would be good until the next run.
Maybe other RO owners have some insight on this from their owners/operation manuals?

I'll send another 10-20 gallons of permeate through it if it sits for more than a couple days. Does it help? I have no idea, but probably doesn't hurt.

They should be fine with a soap wash and proper rinse done assuming they are still soaking in permeate. Not a bad idea to add some fresh permeate every few days if you have it as wnybassman suggested.
