    Default Bulk Price 2024

Rumors floating bulk price is starting at 2.20 a pound! My old Amish friend Henry Breeneman, who had bought many a tractor trailer load, said to me ounce that I could make money at 2.00 dollars a pound! And I said no you can make money at 2 dollars I could not because I have electricity. So what is causing this! Rumor floating syrup sales offer in grocery stores 22 percent, every item is up some, maple syrup is a luxury item! Oh well I have not been selling bulk for the last ten years, have created to many customers, bulk sales producers will be forces to sell more product retail, which will probably lower the price per jug.

Heard that 2.20-2.30 price as well. It is early and it all depends on how the northern states and Quebec crop is. We wont really know till may probably. I highly doubt they will be up much though

Probably won't know for sure until the season is over in Quebec. If it turns out to be a terrible season in the U.S. we might know a bit earlier.

I DO BELIEVE PPAQ WILL BE AT $2.65 ca. That puts it at $1.97 us. Ohio bulk buyers are already at $2.60 for the top 3 and they won't be buying much local with the crappy year we had.

national prices are at $2.10. Bascom is not actively buying but will take it. Butternut is pre contracted and paying in the fall. Overall consumption is down 20-30% depending on region. Economy sucks and has not hit bottom yet. Might change the second week of November if we are lucky
