    Default First sugar

Made our first sugar yesterday! Used old syrup, couldn’t get the glucose meter to read the invert level was so high. Boiled to 50 degrees over boiling point of water, let it cool for short time & then poured into the 20 quart mixer. We think it turned out great. Sifted through the hand sifter & then put the lumps through the food processor & then sifted them into the rest. Had 4 bags & 4 pints, plus the 2 pints of small lumps for coffee. What do people charge for it per pound?
