Is there such thing as a sap hydrometer correction chart? My sap hydrometer is calibrated at 38*F but the sap I was testing today (first collection) was between 12-12.4*F. Yes there are, you can find them on the web (I could point you to some). But I'm confused - you say the sap you collected from trees was 12 degrees Fahrenheit? If the sap was not a solid block of ice, I'm pretty sure that's not possible, unless your trees produce sap with like 20% sugar LOL!
