I was going to tap some, but broke a CV joint on my side by side that I haul sap with, waiting on parts, maybe that was a good thing to make me wait
I'll probably tap the week of the 16th. We have the annual University of Louisville tapping workshop on the 20th.

I got almost 300 in yesterday, finishein up the rest (200) here in a few minutes.
So Thursday night here didn't freeze- at my house anyway. I have a North-northeast facing hillside, some of the trees up near the ridge were running yesterday. When i came back down to the bottom of the hill to start up another lateral, my mainline was dripping.
I was so disappointed that i didn't get finished tappin yesterday, but the 40 mph winds the night before had me fixing some tubing & moving some brush as I went along. Anyways got up this morning & it's 35F...It was supposed to freeze last night, but it sure didn't I was looking forward to a run today. Can't have it all, and thankful for what we do get!
