    Default Cotton candy machine

I’m looking to getting into making cotton candy this year at farmers market and vending shows. What’s the machine of choice out there.

GOLD METAL PRODUCTS. When ordering tell them you are doing maple floss it does take a special element. maple sugar is hard on the heaters. we get roughly 10,000 bags per set. sales will pay for itself in a couple good weekends.

Fred's right, they will pay for themselves in short time at the right events. Those are nice machines.

If you want to go cheap we have had good luck with our Vivo cotton candy machine. We bought the dome/cover for it which helps. Not nearly as fast as the nicer machines but fine for the 40-50 bags we were selling each day at craft fairs over the past 4 years. We added maple popcorn this year which was a big hit but probably knocked down the cotton candy sales some. We've found more kids = more cotton candy sales. So it depends on what type of event or market you are selling at.

You can get them through the Popcorn Supply Company in Syracuse, NY. They sell stuff for the maple industry.
