Default Calling all Leader Clear Press Owners

Thought I’d start a thread and get some input from other Leader Clear Filter Press owners.
Would hate to see it discontinued by H20…as it’s an awesome innovation…pun intended. 🤭
With the ability to see how it’s filling up, for me, it’s the best press out there… anyone else have any input?

It works great! Love being able to see into the plates as they fill up. I can also explain to visitors how the press works visually.

    overall, a pretty good press.
the 15 plate version has as much or more capacity than a full bank 10" press, i can get 4 barrels out of a set of papers if the syrup is clean. pretty much impossible to blow papers unless you're doing something really wrong. running an early version of them now, and the end plates we have are new, had to send the old ones back to leader to get reworked as they had bent and were leaking pretty bad. excellent if you do a lot of tours. i wouldn't hesitate to run 2 of these 15 plate ones before switching to a 15" press if you were growing a lot.
added bonus: you can see almost instantly if you didn't use enough DE, and i can determine if i get more than one boil out of a set of papers just by looking at it.

I really like the press. It’s nice to monitor the syrup filling up initially and the DE build up. Very easy to clean up as well.

With out a doubt...being able to see what's going on inside is a huge benefit and the screen style "waffle plate" is also genius.
