This may have been asked already but I didn’t see anything when I searched. I have boiled my sap the last 4 years in an old canvas ice shanty with a 3 burner propane camp stove and a 18 X 36 pan I welded up. Not the best but out of the weather. Some one gave me an old pop up camper that I built wood walls for and put the stove in this. Much nicer but need a better way to get the steam out. Has anyone tried using a kitchen hood to help get the steam out? I think I could add some metal on to the hood to cover the pan. Just finished up for this year so now I have some time to experiment with a hood.
Thanks for your help this forum has provided much help and information for my addiction.
Thanks, DJ
