    Default Leader mico 2

Would adding a 3rd membrane to this help with the RO? I can go from 2% to 7% in one pass at .4 gallons a minute also thing about adding a larger pump.
    Thanks Brian

Hi. I'm no RO expert, but it would seem that the larger pump might make more pressure than the system is rated for. Also, where does the 3rd membrane go? the micro 2 frame is already occupied with the 2 membranes and other components. I suppose a third membrane could be plumbed in but hung on a separate frame. From what I am reading, you should be able to go from 2 to 8% at about 0.7 gpm. What pressure are you running?

Here is an old link on the subject for some more background.

I think you should be able to go over 200 without cutting your concentrate flow as low as you are going. 0.4 gpm is lower than what other people are quoting. Talk to Leader, they support this product.

    Still boiling over there?
