For years I have been helping my maple sugaring family solve problems with Leader’s Fill Stop system. In the early version there were lots of problems with the electronic portion and I was usually able to repair it. With the latest version the electronic top section is quite reliable but the WIC valve causes problems and syrup flow either slows to a trickle or stops. Taking it apart and cleaning it usually doesn’t make it work.I talked to a tech person at WIC and he said the valve was designed for high pressure water or air and not for syrup. I’m wondering if there is a more reliable system available or if anyone has had better success with the Leader system. Thanks very much for any ideas.
