    Default 2022 North of Nashwauk

Packed down trails on snowshoes mapping out the lines 2nd week of March. Ran lines on 3/13 and Tapped Wednesday 3/16. All trees were dry. Forecast looks favorable.

Trees are starting to wake up. A little accumulation on 3/19 and about 60 gallons on 3/20 off around 200 taps. Nothing on 3/21 as temps did not cooperate. Wait for it they say 😂.

Put out 74 taps on 3/16 with vacuum on 19th and collected 48 gallons before it shut down. Looks like next run may be 10 days out. Think wind shut down production on Monday.

First boil on 3/24/25 of ~240 gallons. Shut down again for what looks like about 5 or 6 days. Another snow squall ( up to 12+ “) heading our way starting 3/30 early morning and continuing through to 4/1. Temps look good after that as far as I can see.
