Default 1st year wirh no syrup

Sadly the time has come that Ron isn't able to tap anymore. His health issues have made this pretty impossible. He reads Tge Maple News that I get for him each year. Watches his Kindle and I show him maple things on my phone. It was great while it lasted...

That is a really sad thing to hear. Hopefully you are able to get some product from a local source. I wish you nothing but the best for the future. Hope Ron enjoys all the news.

    So sorry to hear that.
I, by choice, quit tapping last year but I still fulfill by need to satisfy the addiction, I buy bulk, pack it into retail and still take care of my customers.
I guess the "by choice" was not 100% accurate, it's mostly because of a bad hip, but also because I now get cold far too easy since I was put on a blood thinner after I had blood clots (DVT). I didn't ask for either of those.
We get old for too soon, I still feel young inside but my body argues with that feeling. At 75 I no longer have the strength nor endurance I did just a few years ago.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
