Ran ok, not great on weekend. Not much Monday & nothing yesterday. Supposed to warm up, but snow/rain mix today & tomorrow.. Hard to say when the weather will straighten out. We've bottled about 30 imp gals so far.. The piggyback we added this year seems to be working awesome.

Oh nice!! Mine was 2% but haven't checked it today. I had a good run today. Hope tomorrow will be good but not getting very warm and no sun. I will be busy boiling tomorrow.

Just finished up some syrup today after boiling most of the day yesterday. Really sweet stuff. Trees are completely shut down at the moment. Hopefully they pick back up again.

We're up to almost 100 imp gals, been a decent year so far. Yesterday sap ran surprisingly well, I've learned that nature messes with you. You can't predict what is going to happen all the time.

Trees ran pretty decent from Wednesday afternoon til this morning. I kick myself for not taking some out of my barrel last evening. Vacuum ran all night and it overflowed. May get a couple more days next week. Or could be done tomorrow. It's been a fair year.

Saps been flowing great! It's probably coming to after today though, no freezing overnight in sight & double digit temps in day. No complaints, we've had a good year, & it's time to be done, possibly could surpass our all time total.

That's great Murray. My buckets have almost stopped after last Friday. My tubing is still pulling it in though. I've had my best year yet as well. It wouldn't have been if I only had buckets. Today will likely be the last day for that.

Best year for us here also, this past week we had more sap than we could store. we will be finishing for the season on the weekend. Time to move on to other things.

Glad to hear everyone is having a good season. I collected again today. Saps still seems good so I’m going to store up for another boil this weekend and called it a season. I’ve had a really clear looking syrup this year and really sweet also.

Finished up what was left in evaporator yesterday on the propane stove. My brother put it on stove in the middle of the afternoon & we didn't start bottling until almost 8:00. We're done for another year, it was great! Ended up with an all time high for us of 198 imp gals, 238 us gals, or 900 litres. Now to get everything cleaned up.
