Tapped last week. First boil yesterday. Next couple days looks like we'll get a good run. We only have 70 taps out now but will put a few more in this week.

We're planning on tapping this weekend.
2020: Approximately 10 taps, a home made barrel evaporator, and total lack of preparedness yielded a few gallons of mediocre syrup
2021: 17 taps, same home made barrel evaporator, slightly more prepared, 8.25 gallons of good stuff
2022: Doubling tabs, home brew natural gas evaporator and O.G. barrel evaporator

put some taps out yesterday, still to cold wasn't running yet, looks to be cold for next week
Collected 122 gallons off of 70 taps yesterday. Getting cold again. The next run in a week or so should be big.

i have some sap frozen in buckets on the trees, hoping to gather when get first thaw. where you located at?

should be around 150 taps this yr.
We're south of Fort Wayne. Boiled 200 gallons in 8 hours today. Ended up with 5.5 gallons of syrup.
Should be a another big week.
