Hi folks , hang on , spring is coming !!!
So far a good snow cover to protect from freezing too deep

I live in a region where sugar sand is a problem , after only a four hours of boiling it starts to show.
The porosity of nanofiltration as oppose to reverse osmosis is bigger ( abouth 1/10) and i have read in some threads that as long as you stay below
8 or 10 brix , they do not significantly pass sugar , but that a certain quantity of minerals is passing through the permeate.

Is there any study .....Dr Perkins , Proctor Maple ??? on the significance of niter in the concentrate obtain from reverse osmosis versus nanofiltration ?
Any of you have experience a difference ?
Could that be a way of diminishing the importance of niter ???

Thanks
