Default 50 million pounds of syrup released!

After the leader of the free world released 50 million barrels of crude oil to try and lower gas prices, I guess you Canucks just could not stand it and released 50 million pounds of syrup. The price of syrup was getting to high? Too Funny

Supply and demand!! It did what it was created for. High demand and low production= surplus is gone, even the commercial syrup.......

They've been selling all along, now they're out. They want to add 7 million taps. With supply of pipe in canada they will be lucky to hit 3mil by winter of '22 unless extra resin is released.

    Fred,
The 50 million barrels of crude could be turned in plastic, therefore solving tubing shortage? The leader of the free world solves problems without even trying! Come on Man!

    Fred,

Aside from DE and jugs, do you see any shortages looming?

Yes, I have lost orders all summer, no Glass Cabins, now no Christmas Glass, supplier asked for them supply chain problems I guess!
You know we need to cut the use of tubing, made from crude oil, or natural gas. Both nasty fossil fuels, hang a wooden bucket with a metal spile, my mistake no metal spiles made from metal that was made by melting iron ore by burning coal, Proctor needs to step up and show leadership on how to increase production without miles of tubing and polycarbonate spiles? Come on Man!

Easy…do it like squirrels. Climb to the upper branches, nip the bark with your teeth, wait for the sap to flow and dry into sugar crystals by the sun, then lick it up. No plastic - no metal - no fire - no glass. Very “green.”

    What other questions you got?

Would it be reasonable to say that syrup with a "Product of Canada" on it like the stuff on the shelf at TJ's is very possibly any number of years old?
