I found an old bottle of syrup and thought I'd make sugar from it. Nope. It never got past the taffy stage and didn't crystalize. I had a feeling.

What can I do with it now? Usually my failed candy can go into the next batch of candy, but this can't go into the next batch of sugar. It's only a quart or so, but it would be nice to repurpose it into another recipe of something that could use some maple flavor. Any ideas?
