    Default sugarin' in Cheshire

after 2 days of boiling, I had my first draw late today. almost 2 gallons. I also noticed the sugar was at 1.9% today. I hope it's not a trend...

Will you tap early this year given the warm weather? Sort of a FOMO (fear of missing out) problem.

Normally I'd tap around Feb 10, but at this rate we'll be in T-shirt and shorts by March.

I've tapped in January 2x over the last 12 years. I still think we are going to have a winter. I added a smoky lake backflip preheater and a steam hood for this year. I hope I get to use the new toys!
