Lightbulb Using a Military Diesel Generator for Off grid Vacuum Pump (Any Generator Experts?)

Hi, I've have the opportunity to buy a MEP-002a Military Surplus Generator.

I was wondering if this Generator could be used to Power a Small Airablo Vacuum pump at a remote location.
I would be interested in also adding a goulds pump with a float switch to pump sap up 120ft up a hill to the road way.

Has anyone heard of a set up like this?
    Advice, comments, concerns?

those things will run forever as long as you keep the maintenance up on them.
    2004 - 2012 2x3 flat pan 25 to 60 taps
    2012 2x3 new divided pan w/draw off 55 taps
    2018 - didn't boil surgery - bought new evaporator
2019 new SML 2x4 raised flue high output evap. 65 taps
    made 17 gal. syrup
    2020 - only put out 53 taps - made 16.25 ga.l syrup
    2021 - Didn't work out
    2022 - 25 taps on bags / 8 taps on 3/16's line - late start

Any Idea how much Maple Equipment it can provide energy for?

    Is it enough for:

    1. vacuum pump
    2. 3hp goulds pump
    3. electric Extractor
    4. Pressure washer?

Seems like it should be. 3hp pump would be 10ish amps. 1hp max for the releaser should be around 4 amps. I would think you could find a small vacuum pump that would run on the remaining 12 amps. That's all using the 220 numbers. I know a lot of stuff is going to 3 phase in maple, and that might be a better way to set it up, but I'm not in the know on that stuff.

Those generators are pretty reliable with regular maintenance. Made to operate under pretty harsh conditions.

Just make sure you use start-up amps when you sum up the total power requirements. Some devices (especially some types of pumps) have very high draws when first fired up, especially when they're cold. Not likely you'll switch all those things all at one time though.

Airablo told me there 3/4 hp flood Vaciim Pump uses 5.5 amps of 230v.

They said every (1hp) uses about 3000w

Looking at a quick chart a 3HP single phase 240V pump will draw ~17amps. Pumps do not always draw full load amps like a heater would due to inductive vs resistive loads, but at high flows low pressure they can. The generator looks to be 5000W and 26amps at 240V. Some Goulds deep well pumps would be able to pump well over 120' at the 1 HP size would lighten the load some, but you may already have the pump making that a mute point. I do not think you will have a lot of "extra" power, it could work great if the price is right and equipment is spec'd out. Just add up the name plates of motors and see what you get, 26 is what you have.

I have run a 3HP Vac pump and a .5HP deep well pump for extractor on a 7500W Generac without any worries at all and pretty sure 2 1HP blowers for the evaporator as well a time or 2.
