Default Parts list for shurflo vacuum setup.

I would like to ask you folks who have experience with this type of vacuum setup what parts you have used and worked great for you. If you have model numbers that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

4008 and 4048 are the most common pumps used. We run a 4048. For parts, it depends on what you are hooking them up to. Are you putting it into mainline or individual laterals of 3/16” or 5/16”? There are plenty of examples with pictures and discussions on here about it. Do a search for it and read away.....
    305 taps on 2 Shurflo's, 31 taps on 3/16" and 229 taps on gravity. 565 in all
Mountain Maple S3 controller for 145 of the vacuum taps
2x6 Darveau Mystique Oil Fired Evaporator w/ Smoky Lake Simplicity Auto Draw
    Wesfab 7” filter press

    What MaineBackWoodsSyrup said.

Best advice I can give is just know what you are hooking it to. Shurflo sells adapters up to 3/4" for the input port. Other than that you need to decide your power source, 12V or solar. Stay away form the 120v Ive heard they dont run as well.

The rest comes down to what you want to do with it. Be as creative or as simple as you want to be.

My offer from your other thread still stands. Got all the plumbing bits here to get you going, I'm sure.

You can be as simple or elaborate as you like. Here is what I used in my setup.
    4008 Shurflo pump with strainer.
110v to 12v converter. (I have power close)
    (2) temp controllers from ebay. One turns the pump on and off at the correct temperature, the second controls a 100W lightbulb in the box to keep the pump from freezing.
Associated PVC fittings and valves to connect to six 5/16 maple lines coming in and one on a ball valve to act as a recirc line into the tank to keep the pump diaphragm wet.
2018 - 20 Taps on 3/16, Barrel evaporator with 2 steam pans. Unknown amount.
    2019 - Nothing
    2020 - 30 Taps on Shurflo, 30 taps on 3/16, 2x5 oil tank evaporator, 11 Gallons.
    2021 - 35 Taps on Shurflo, 11 buckets, RB10 RO Bucket, 2x3XL Mason Evaporator. 4 gallons
2022 - 110 Taps on Shurflo, 77 taps on 3/16 gravity, 13 buckets to hit 200, Upgrade to RB15 RO Bucket.
2023 - 110 Taps on Shurflo, New 3/4 Mainline with 125 taps, 2x4 raised flue, Upgrade to Homemade 4x40 RO.
