Milk tank up and running
The refrigeration guys were here yesterday and finished hooking up and charging my tank. I now have 650 gallons of cold storage! Installed a 1.5hp compressor unit to replace the 3hp R12 unit it came with. This will have to work less hard cooling sap than it did cooling 100-degree milk and I only have 30amps run over to the sugar shack. Should be just fine. All seems to be working properly and it was making ice by the time they left! Can't wait until next season and not having to panic on the warm days.
