Default Looking for air tight door recommendations

I put in a blower on my 30"×10' Dallaire evaporator and now I have an ash problem. Can anybody recommend an aftermarket airtight door setup? Anybody have experience putting airtight doors on their evaporator as a DIY project ?

I put an airtight door on my evaporator. Mine is a single door on a rectangular arch front. The door is 3" deep and overlaps the opening on the front of the arch. I put ceramic insulation blanket that that is 4" thick in the door (2-2" bats). When the door closes, it overlaps the opening and compresses the insulation blanket against the front of the arch. The door is larger than the arch opening by 1" on all four sides.

I did the same thing. Rather than fab up a door, for now I just used some magnets and cardboard to adjust the intake size on the blower. Now it blows minimal ash, you can leave it on while loading, but it still makes the fire much hotter, and less picky about firewood.

Went off the deep end. Might be in over my head...
