Been out repairing chews on the 3/16 spiles and tubing. Connectors and tape. I also added a little cyan treat for the little $#!@s.
Anyone have a fool proof solution besides a 22? Or the chew repairs?

Replace lines where needed. To prevent the squirrel chews , when I clean my tubing I use pool shock , no sodium. Year before I changed 1000 ft. of 3/16 with chews. This season I only found 2 chews. Its the sodium there after, get rid of that you've mostly solved your problem.
I have had better luck deterring them with Sriracha sauce than just cyan or hot sauce. It stays on the tree and lines longer and it has a different smell that really seems to repel them.

Interesting idea. My deterrent comes in a shell form and seems to work well. Plant some walnut trees in your lawn and throw a bird feeder in there. They come right to the deterrent.
