    Looking at 300 gal tanks at tractor supply. Anyone using them for sap collection?

    I assume you mean the poly tank. We used one several years ago, and only that one season. Pumping from it was a hassle. And you'll need a cover. Most guys are using the poly tote. You can see the sap level, It's covered, already has a valve (questionable value), and can be set up on frame to elevate as a head tank.

    Now days, I'm all ss round bottom tanks but if I was doing smaller stuff I'd be looking at totes.
