Finally. March 11, first boil.
The RI forum has been as quiet as the sap flow this year. Well, up in the nw, things are improving. This season I began using 3/16 gravity lines on half of my trees. It’s trial and error but so far I’m liking it. I finally got a good run up here this week and my lines have been working surprisingly well. I guess my setup is actually working. It sure makes collecting a lot easier. Time to start the fire. I’ve got some boiling to do.
