    Every season's different.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

Which is exactly why we like to do 2-3+ years of research on some things before we talk about them.

If your taps are not too old you should get at least another 600 gallons this coming week if the weather holds to what is predicted.

Might even leave you approaching last years numbers.

While every year is different ... in the end they are all pretty much the same ... just the delivery is a bit different.

And I am not sure why it has become hip to forget about the back half of March a potentially still good Maple Sugaring season in southern NE.

It seems like more people contemplate tapping in December then in March.

But hysteria runs far and wide these days in all aspects of our society.
