    Default Current Sap Prices

We've never sold sap before, but this year I think we will. I went to the UVM sap calculator website, but its above my pay grade. Anyone care to just comment on what you're paying/getting for sap this year?

    Default Sap prices

We buy sap and the price is based on the price of bulk syrup. In last months edition of the Maple New there's a copy of the University of Cornell sap price list by sugar percent and bulk price. We pay at the end of the season based on the current bulk price we sell our bulk syrup at.

We use the Cornell buying spreadsheet from Cornell University , you need to know what the bulk price of syrup your buyer is getting ,along with sugar content of sap it’s really simple to use .

Thanks everyone - I did end up finding the Cornell calculator and it was definitely easy to use.
