Default testing sugar content from bottom of collection tank

Does any sugar precipitate out in raw maple sap to the bottom of the tank? I've been testing from the bottom valve of tank before pumping, and recently the discussion came up. I can also confirm by testing before and after pumping next time I collect I suppose.

Technically, to precipitate means to form a solid and come out of solution. I am certain that won't happen. However, it does seem possible that a slight gradient would form where the solution is denser at the bottom of the barrel. Not sure if there's any practical significance though.
