    Default Leaking filter press

We bought new cloth filters for our 7" press. Used them for the first time last night and they leaked like crazy.
Was told to wet them first so pulled them out washed them and then tried to filter the sweet. Even after a dead blow hammer on the tightners it still leaked horribly. Thoughts?
