    Default Tapped in Granby 2021

After not having done any sugaring since my college days I'm finally a homeowner with access to a handful of big old sugar maples and smattering of smaller sugar and red maples. Finally pulled the trigger and tapped them Wednesday morning with my fiance.

Saps been running decent with the red maples finally opening up today, and so far the saps been right around 2% according to my old hydrometer. Planning to do my first boil in nearly 8 years on Sunday. I'll finally be able to open my last jar of maple syrup I've kept sealed from 2013.
    2011: 7 norway maples and 1 sugar.(10 taps)

2012: 16 taps, all sugars and reds.

    2013: 21 taps
