Nice run today just north of ptbo. ~ 60 gallons sap on 86 taps. One bucket broke the hook loose from the spile, guessing it was full (had several full 2 gal buckets today). Had closer look and noticed the CDL spiles have a thin gauge plastic ring that attaches the hook to the spile, compared to a Lapierre which is solid plastic. Always something to learn !
