    Default Tapping in Green county

We started tapping today. Started with 90 on sureflow vacuum. Tomorrow we will tap a couple hundred more. Sap wasn’t running today, but the weather looks good for the next several days.

Nice , I tapped 10 Sunday. All but 2 of the trees I drilled were running pretty good. Im glad somebody else in the south decided to tap the same time. Makes me feel a little better about the decision to tap then.

Sap was running pretty good today. Got 175 gallons by mid afternoon. I went ahead and pumped it out because it might overflow tonight.

I’ve had it for several years. I forget now, but it was either listed on eBay or Craig’s list, ad it was close enough to go get it. They are still available, and parts are easy to come by.

I think its awesome, probably because I spent 17 years in the Army National Guard. I was assigned 5 huey's to keep maintained and fly in. You do not see many of those vehicles here in Michigan.
