I've seen a lot of posts regarding using baking soda to neutralize the vinegar after cleaning. Just couldn't find quantity needed. Is there a ratio water/baking soda to follow? How many boxes should I use for a 2x4 flat pan?

I check mine with PH strips. Should be 7 on the scale to be neutral. If you have a Walmart near you, buy a 4 pound box for about $3.00. Don't worry about having a little extra, you can use it next time.

You can use pH strips or simply put in baking soda until it stops fizzing. In this case, using too much is not a problem.

Thanks, I'll pick up a few boxes. I just had no idea if I needed couple table spoons or couple pounds. I'd rather waste a little for the price then not putting enough.
