2021 January Winter Maple Conference is cancelled
Sad to hear that NY Mid-Winter Maple Classic is cancelled due to Covid 19.First time in 25 years. Was to be held at NYS Fairgrounds. Most people Know the event as Verona, now held in Syracuse at the fairgrounds. Hopefully it will be bigger and better in 2022.

I saw it was still on in the Maple News. Googled it and saw your post. Sorry to hear this, we were looking forward to it. NY state, no wonder! They should move it to Pa this year.
pa is in lockdown too. leme was cancelled as well.

One professional organization I belong to did a virtual annual meeting and expo using a platform called event farm. It wasn't as good as in person but it actually worked out pretty well. We had the governor as the keynote speaker, numerous other presenters, an award ceremony,and an expo. The members participated as avatars. The speakers were live broadcasts of themselves. The expo booths had images and could go to a live video screen chat with visitors.
