Sap Ladder with Shurflo
What is the max height that I could attain with the Shurflo. I need to cross a township road so I would need around 18 feet. I am planning on having near 100 taps ahead of the ladder. It will be around 1200 feet between the ladder and the Shurflo. I am planning on using 3/4 black plastic for the main line and 3/16 laterals and drops. Also how many 3/16 stars would I need for the top and bottom of the ladder.
i don't believe the shurflo will achieve what you are trying to do, even with 3/16 line. Shurflo's are low CFM pumps and if the pump doesn't have liquid in the diaphragm it won't move liquid like you want.

a single 3/16 will pull up and over 18 feet and you will gain some the loss as it drops back down on the downstream side
