Filter gear pump finally went. Is this a suitable replacement if I convert to air? 1/2 inch ports and can take temp to 225 degrees

According to that page, no. But who knows where that info comes from. You'd probably need to call the manufacturer to be sure.

Went off the deep end. Might be in over my head...
I used this one from Grainger for a number of years until I sold my filter press. It worked great and is about bombproof. Only complaint is the checks will sugar up if you leave syrup in it, but it takes about 5 min to break it down and put it back together. No problem though if you rinse it out after use.

Last season, I got a new press, so I got a bigger pump. It's a 1/2" Wilden pump from FW Webb with plastic body. It's twice as much as the Grainger pump and is harder to take apart and put together...more pieces. I do like the pump though...it pumps a lot faster, but I don't necessarily think it's any better. I can get you the part number if you want it.

I need to check but I think this is what I use. ttps://www.zoro.com/aro-double-diaphragm-pump-air-operated-200f-pd03p-als-kaa/i/G2537026/#specifications
The 200F does not seem to be an issue, I heat my syrup in my finisher to 210, then draw it into my mixing tank, stir and then pump it thru the filter press. While I have not checked what the temperature is when it goes thru the pump I suspect it is likely close to 200F. I use 1" silicone supply tubing and reduce to 3/8" at the inlet to the pump.

Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
Anyone run one of these?

Check this thread out that's also about diaphragm pumps. GeneralStark has a Yamada pump...not sure if it's the same one you sent a link of.

I didn't find the complete specs. I see 212F max, but don't see anything about food grade. To me it looks more like a car wash pump but I may be wrong. The price is good, but only if it is safe to use (food grade).

Find a different source. A car wash equipment vendor will not have food grade products.
