Note, you can manually request a picture at anytime, you don't have to wait for a deer to walk by to trigger it.

We have a battery trail cam facing our tanks. We actually hung a bird feeder next to the tanks which is enough movement to send a picture when a bird comes to eat.

I use a game cam. Runs on 12 AA batteries. Lasts all season. Connected to cell service. Works great.

My new Remote Vacuum Sense (RVS) unit is another way of remote monitoring. You read vacuum using text messages.

Dave, any chance that it will ever work with US Cellular? That’s the only service we have around that’s any good. Verizon is spotty but not at the bush locations.

I have tested The RVS and S4 controllers with T-Mobile and AT&T. Have a Canadian customer using a variation of Telus, and Rogers is also supported. So if US Cellular is compatible with any of those, which it probably is, it should work. Verizon is a slightly different technology and not yet supported. Maybe next year.
