    What effect does soot buildup on the bottom of the pans have on heat transfer?

    A lot, you need to brush it every day before start up. I usually take mine off and clean / descale the bottom at least once a season or more.
    125-150 taps
    Smokey Lakes Full pint Hybrid pan
    Modified half pint arch
    Air over fire
    All 3/16 tubing
