    Default Dundee Ridge Taping 2020

Tapped 96 trees tonight in the White Mountains. 55 more to go. Two highest trees on my run let out some sap as I pulled the bit out around sunset tonight. They get the best late day sun.

Now to finish setting up the Suger House...

Our lines on the sunny side of the hill were running really slow all day yesterday until late afternoon when everything opened up a bit and we had good flow well after sunset. I suspect today will be a good day. Finally finished setting up Sugar House too. The building had sat abandoned for 15+ years, and before that was a woodshop for the previous property owner.

We've started to run pretty well. A few of our warmer lines ran overnight last night, while the colder one shut down. We had about 100 gallons collected as of this morning off from 150 taps, all on gravity. I hope to start boiling tomorrow evening. We are up in the White Mountains.

Thanks for asking. See here: http://mapletrader.com/community/sho...-What-Happened

The second boil went great. And have gotten over a gallon per tap in the last 24 hours and still going.

Collected 400 gallons on 150 taps since Tuesday morning. I'd say our hill is thawed out. Going to be a busy weekend.
