    Default Sump Pump

I working on setting up an RO on a dolly. Could I use a sump pump to pump from the sap tank through the filter?
This is How I have it set up I was thinking.
    1. Sump pump through to filter canister.
    2. Filter to 160 PSI pressure pump
    3. Pressure pump into 1- 4 by 40 with MES membrane
    4. Pressure gauge on concentrate line coming out of membrane.

I see everyone using a heavy shall well pump, but why couldn't you use a Sump pump instead? Or any other pumps?

    Thanks

Sump pumps build very little pressure. The flow out of the filter will drop very quickly as the filter begins to clog. The pressure part is why the shallow well type pumps are being used.
