Big Pine how big and where did you get the bucket RO. I think I need to go that route next year(too many late nights) I can only cook about 6 to 8 gallons per hour. We finished with 32 1/2" gallons of syrup on 100 taps.I didn't test sap at the beginning but the last 4 -5 batches sap was running at 3 to 3.2 percent
    Family taped for many years
started again 2009 after 25 year break with 40 taps
    2011 60 taps
    2016 90 taps

Schnep's, where are you located? My sugar bush is 4 miles north of Garrison on US 169. If not to far away you could come up and see what I have.
We would certainly honor safe distancing, but I could show you.
Are you working? I will be r/o'ing today from about 10am - 2 pm. I am internet 'connected' at my sugar bush.
Otherwise, I can email you with info and photos - send me your address - mine is: rulost@outlook.com
