    Default Tapped in Bellingham

Fivesaps Sugar house in Bellingham has finished tapping. We're about a week early but will probably let it run for a day or so to flush the lines. Sugars are running a bit and the reds don't seem to be doing much. The shurflo pumpwill be activated Saturday.
Let the festivities begin. May mother nature provide us with an abundance of the "nectar of the gods" .

Congratulations! I'm right behind you. I'm charging the batteries now and I'll hit trees tomorrow afternoon and Friday. Weather is supposed to be lousy, but I can't complain. I've been running line in shirtsleeves for weeks. Hopefully, there's enough of a run to clean out the lines and start collecting Sunday. We'll see. I won't complain too much if things freeze up. We never really had a winter. Good luck down there. Stay in touch.

I tapped about 75 last weekend, 1/3 of my total. Will likely tap the rest over the next 3 weekends and have everything ready by March 1. Collected about 35 gallons this week.
