    Default Munson’s maples 2020

Well I’ve enter the big time now. I got myself a raised flue 2x6 finally! It will be interesting to see how it does. I’m doing around 250 trees plus my neighbor is doing 1200 and will give me sap when he is overwhelmed lol. My homemade RO can still remove 35gal of water an hour even when is dirty so it should keep up by barely. Im heading to Sunnyside next weekend to stock up on jugs and supplies. I made a small website and also got a credit card reader so I don’t lose any sales. My woods is mostly ready, just a few more things to tweak. I’m waiting till February before I look at my drill.

Had a crazy 3 day run. I have 160 of my own trees tapped and 160 of the neighbors trees tapped for now until he’s up and running. I still have about 100 more on my property to tap but I’ve been waiting. I had a grand total of about 360 gallons in 3 days. Took off about half with the RO and boiled. I was amazed how well the 2x6 did. I got my pans nice and sweet and drew off about 2.5 gallons of syrup. Looks like cold for a little bit who knows.
