    Default MMSA 2020 winter Meeting

Since I have not seen it posted anywhere on the Maple trader yet, the winter mtg. starts Friday January 17 at the comfort inn in Mt Pleasant Mi at 6pm. If you have syrup, candy, or cream to be judged it has to be there by 5:30 pm. Round table at 8 pm followed by what is new on the market. Featured guest speaker on Saturday is Dr. Tim Perkins. I am going this year after missing last year.

Looking forward to being there and chatting with Michigan producers. Just keep your fingers crossed for good flying weather. Last couple of times I went I barely managed to get there

Not from MI, but we'll be there. We're excited about going to this meeting, from the program I saw it looks like it should be a really informative day

Dr. Tim an all other attendees, looks like there may be some weather issues this weekend.

Which is exactly why I am flying out on Thursday this time. Weather nearly kept me from getting there the last couple of times -- figured this time I'd give myself an extra travel day just in case.

Leaving Ohio after their meetings last year was interesting. Snowed over a foot Sat afternoon and overnight. Our (wife was with me) Sunday morning flight got cancelled. In trying to reschedule, the airline said they "...might be able to get us on a flight out on Wednesday." Storm was just finishing, so we rented a 4-wheel drive and drove 15 hrs home, following the storm all the way. Roads were OK and since no trucks were allowed on the highway we made decent time.

I plow snow and didn't make it last year due to the darn snow. This year sounds like the same thing all over again and I really want to go. On the other hand I really need to make some money. Lol sounds like could see a foot of again. Sorry Tim welcome to Michigan.

The MMSA meeting was great, I think we're going to add it to our annual to-do list.
And Dr. Tim made it in spite of having to drive
